lopey idle at SOME starts

ok, first post, but ive been looking around for someone with this problem and cant find anything. First off i live in alabama and the temp has been around 80-90 during mid day. usually when i go out to my 97 psd in the morning and crank it most of the time i can count on it to start and immediatley idle like a 1969 dodge charger with a lopey drag cam. Then i press the pedal a little, and get it to idle steady at about 1.2k RPMs for about 4 to 5 seconds, any less and it will go back to lopey idle. and after i do it for about 5 seconds and let off the rpms drop and it "chugs" at about 700 to 750 rpms then rises a little and smooths out. i then usually drive away and its fine. Then i park. i have parked for 3 hours, started and it was fine but i have also stopped to get gas while the engine was warm and when i started 4 mins later it did it. it seems very random and i only could guess that its got something to do with a sensor or the computer, or dirty fuel/air filter, which im going to change out tom to see if that does it. thanks for the help.

Unplug your ICP sensor and see if it continues to do it, you will get a CEL but don't worry about that.

Also what oil are you running and when was it changed last and is it full?

I've had a small rump rump thing for the first 10 seconds or so since getting the new HPOP, nothing extreme though.
