air in fuel... rough idle

hey I have a problem that I cant solve... Im getting air in my fuel line... checked all connections and they are good... but still getting air. could this be a faulty pollak valve or lift pump? 1996 f250 7.3

Are you sure its air causing the rough idle?

yeah because there is a pressure release valve that I have to press in order to get air out after it dies and then it starts up again . It feels just like air in a fuel line also... power loss , rough idle...
