Trucks not starting

My 99 super duty wont start. It turns over fine and seems like the battery's are charged. After trying to start it I can easily smell diesel. Not sure whats going on here I just started it in the morning to move it.

Hoping for a quick fix as I just bought it a couple weeks ago.
Thanks

If the oil level is good and you have adequete fuel pressure the CPS might be bad

Is it cold? Will it fire for a second and then die?

check for fuel leak at the fuel drain valve (on the back side of fuel filter housing) and the filter cap. Could be leaking and not building pressure.

when you crank it over, look at the tach (RPM's) and see if the needle moves up as the motor turns over.... if the needle stays down on zero RPM's the CPS is gone, if the needle moves its probably not the CPS.

ah.... I bet you it is a bad/failing glow plug relay

does the exhaust puff out white smoke while turning over??

might take a couple tries but cycle the key about 3 times (turn igniton on but dont start and let it sit for about 15 seconds) and see if it that will help.
