Extremely Worried

So I am driving along, nothing harsh, usually crusiing thru town or down the highway, and all of a sudden, my engine will just lock up for a split second... then its fine, like nothing happened. First time, it was just like I let my foot off the accelerator. It has happened 3 times I think. I just stops, then takes right back off, and we are talking a very rapid process. Just Boom, then normal. I took out the edge, which i run on 80hp, and drove back to school with it on stock. Nothing happened. But I havn't driven it enough to know yet. Any ideas, I take something like that very serious. only been like 2500 miles since the last oil change, nothing in oil at that time. Keep mine on the stick at all times too. Any thoughts here from anyone would be great, still under warranty, so if there is something needs to be done, then I want to be sure it is fixed before December!

Thanks all

It just jolts, like it locks up for a split second, I don't have to restart it or anything like that. Just quick enough to make the passenger look at you funny.

Mine does that when going down hills and stuff, just feels like the convertor locking up.
