exhaust leak

i finnaly got the X-wheel put in today. that was a pain the @$$. while checkin things out after reassembly, i reached back by the down pipe and felt air at the connection. when i put the down pipe back on i made sure it was tight, so, does this mean i need a new clamp? or something else wrong? doesnt the clamp seal the pipe to the outlet opn the turbo?

When I put my MBRP 4in. turbo back exhaust on I found that it was real easy to get the downpipe kinked side ways on the turbo while tightening the clamp down. Had to loosen it back up a few times before I finally got it on straight. No leaks. No offence, but are you sure the downpipe is fully seated on the turbo?

none takin, deeno. the pipe may nopt be on all the way. but when i let it down thats the only way it could go. it couldn't twist in any direction. infact i had to force it to go down. it wanted to stay up there even with the clamp loose. i'll look into it. thanks.

No prpblem Bill. Since you had to force it down like that I guess it could be a worn out clamp. When you find out, let me know
