i see ap sensor outputs voltages of .5 [idle] gradually up to 3.7 [wot]. can anybody tell me if this is in spec on 2000 7.3ps f550

ap output voltages within spec and ivs working correctly why do i see pcm parameter [ap sensor mode] irraticaly jump between partial throttle and wot during slow depression of accelerator pedal??? any thoughts

sounds like a bad pedal assembly if the AP pid is jumping...but it could be a shorted wire or a bad PCM......is the engine rpm following the same jumping pattern??? and is there any codes??

i was loosing cmp signal causing stalling. replaced cmp but still have the irratic ap mode. no codes or driveability problems just got me stumped why mode is irratic when ivs and ap sensors in spec

i guess ive never monitored a AP pid that was in spec.......so i dont have an answer for you........only times ive seen an AP pid either the PCM was cooked or the pedal assembly was bad.....and either way i did not get a good pid to monitor........Marc
