front end wander
02 F350 7.3 4x4 CC DRW I had a service deparment look at the front end because of the front end wandering I thougt it would be the ball joints but they said they were fine. but the tires were wearing in a weird way caused by bad shocks. So new shocks, tires, brakes, rotors and steering dampner. The front end still wanders but not near as bad as before. What else might it be. Any suggestions would be of great help Thanks.

Could be the steering box itself, or if the rear end is out of alignment with the front end it can cause a problem. Also if you are running diffrent tires aon the front end from the back end it can make it wander. Hope that helps. Next time you might want to post in the problems section or the general discussion part of the Forum, not to many people check out the writers discussion postings hahaha. good luck. Gord. |
