My 02 350 had the same problem last year,

A little test would be to turn slightly right or left and let go of the steering wheel. ( at a slower speed of course) if the steering returns to center the steering box is fine if it don't and the ball joints are good then it is your box.

Thats good for close to a $ 1000.(canadian)

I just installed an AGR superpump on my truck and it did not help at all. Not the full Rock RAm it just the Ford Super Pump. The whole kit was out of my budget for now.

The pump was also a huge pain in the a$$ to put in.

Quoting AGR's instructions "on some applications hoses may need to be rerouted"

REROUTED MY A$$ NO WAY IN HELL WERE THE STOCK HOSES GONNA WORK

I had to replace both low pressure hoses, I could have maybe reused one, but it would have been stretched fiddle tight. Then the high pessure to the hydroboost holly crap! After trying eveything I had to cut the hydroboost end off my old hose buy a new hose for a 97 PSD cut the hydroboost end off it because it was different, then had a hydraulic shop reattach my old end to the new 97 hose. Unfortunately that took 6 hours and multiple trips to 4 different parts stores in 3 different towns to figure out.
Then AGR said it came with a new gasket, no gasket, had to order in a gasket from the dealer and install it a few days later.

I am sure the whole kit with pump, steering box and ram would fix it but it is $1200. MAybe next year I will buy the rest of the kit and install it.
