Exclamation humming sound?

New to this site. I'm having trouble finding this wierd noise coming from the drivers side up under the hood or dash when going 55+. Some times it does it and sometimes it doesn't. Any help would be appreciated.

?

Can you feel it. Does it change with the speed or engine rpm? Can you tell us a little more about the sound?

Any aftermarket modifications? My truck developed a slight hummmmm going down the road mostly at lower speeds and it was because I didn't have the DP seated perfectly and I just loosened the bolt, moved it about a millimeter and tighted the bolt down again. Still hums sometimes but it's not the drone it was before so I don't really care.

Sorry, I've been kind of busy lately to reply. The truck 00' F350 diesel.
The humming sound just comes and goes with no effects. No shaking or anything, just annoying. Usually happens around 55mph.

how aggressive of a tire do you have??

Pay attention next time it happens....see if the road surface has anything to do with it. ive seen many cases that the road surface changing at a spot, and people notice the difference in the tire noise. This would be more noticable with an "all terain" tire or anything more agressive than that....
