Brake light

I recently replace my master cylinder, back brake calipers and pads. Bled all lines, started in back first. the problem is my brake light will not go out. My brakes are working fine though. I also checked the parking brake line and it is loose. Any help would be appreciated

there is a switch on the emergance brake pedal inside that will turn the brake light on. Im guessing either that switch has failed or the pedal isnt contacting it all the way.

Do you know where that switch is located. I did change the one on the brake pedal itself.

There are two things that normally cause that light to illuminate. One is the parking brake pedal switch. The second is low brake fluid in the master cylinder. Because you just changed the master, the second is the most likely cause. Check your fluid level and make sure the electrical connector on the side of the master cylinder is plugged in.

hope this helps
