I tried a 10K Ohm resistor and the truck shook hard, but ran pretty good down the road. throttle was overly touchy. I didn't have access to an 18K Ohm, but I got a 22K Ohm and it is much smoother, with just a tiny puff of black. Definitely more throttle response. Somewhat messes with the tranny I think, and throttle is still touchy, but it obviously has more power. instead of shoving the wires down into the ICP plug I skinned both wires just slightly, exposing the wires, and slipped the resistor wires down inside tightly, and taped it up. now i need to throw the bb in the fpr and see what happens. i'll only do this until I can call DP Tuner and get the chip, and install guages.

What was the wattage on these? 1/8? 1/4?
