Yes, the EGR valve is in the exact same location on E-series applications, as they are on F-series. FYI, 2004 being the first year for the 6.0L in E-series was also the WORST. If 05S34 has already been done, check the wiring to the ICP sensor on the passenger side valve cover. I have come across more than my share of vehicles coming in for sputtering or stalling issues, caused by poorly carried out wiring connections made to the various sensors under that program.
