For the 10k you can use whatever resistor you want technically. The lower number you go the more power and throttle response and smoke, and rougher idle. 18k will make it idle smooooooooooth, 10k it will seem rough-ish. 5.6k (what I have right now) it will idle rough, once it's warmedup it lopes and everybody thinks I'm dumb cause my truck sounds like it's dieing LOL, and 4.4k (ABOBB has this and I want it once I can find where to get the resistor) it will make a steady lope at idle. I know it will be steadier than mine cause it doesn't do it til it warms up. I like the 5.6 because it lopes when idleing along, it smokes enough to be bug people and make me smile, I keep smacking my defuel mark of turbo psi no prob (gotta get a fooler now!). But when you have your foot on the brake and the truck is in gear it doesn't lope it just idles a little high. It's neat.
The only thing I don't like about it is I have the hardest time going 15mph or a slow speed in OD because it is VERY touchy with the 5.6k, and it SHAKES when it idles omg... I can't set a drink on the bedrail while it idles.
You know I always write books lol! Costed me $1.05 btw for the resistor and took literally 2 minutes.
Oh and if I am not too heavy on the pedal
i got 2 mpg's better CITY driving!
