Hey guys, just got my truck back today for the dealer. The Steering Gear Box TORE OFF THE FRAME! tHE TECHS THOUGHT IT WAS FROM THE LIFT (2"), although I have never heard of that with a leveling kit before. Cost me $700 (that includes insp. and allignment) bucks as I didn't have the time to DIY.


I don't wanna say that a leveling kit isn't safe, or a bad idea, but I would keep my eyes open! Luckily, I was in a parking lot!

Does anyone know of a way to avoid this? I have never heard of a 2" drop pitman, it almost seems like it would serve the steering better if I took out the new trac bar bracket?

Anyway, do with this info what you will!
