are you letting the truck idle or revving it up?..need to bring it up to about 1800 rpms..the tag will tell you how much ..as far as ounces it should take.put the a/c on max .fan wide open and let her cool..hope you have good results....just so u know..if i am not mistaken..25 to 45 psi..is full.ok..sorry forgot 1 thing..for what ever reason.in the past , i have had to push down on the connector in which you are putting the freon in.to get a true reading.might take 2 sets of hands..
