I put this in camping because it's outdoors. Mods, move this if you want. Anyway, I have a problem with some kind of hornets in my back yard. These things look to be about 2 1/2 to 3" long and are about as big around as your pinky. They have thick red and yellow bands around their butt. They also have a very low buzzing sound when they fly. They're living in a row of trees in our back yard. It looks to be a group of 3 or 4 of them that I always see. These things are mean! Every time I go in the back yard, they chase me. They also chase birds and any other bug that flies by. I'm very allergic to wasps, bees, etc. Is there any way to get rid of these things without having to get near the nest? Something they're attracted to that will kill them? I'd rather not have to spend a bunch of money on an exterminator. I also need to mow my grass but can't because of these things
