I've never gotten pulled over in Oregon for any sort of muffler violation. I've been pulled over and not a word about the exhaust, mostly the speed. There is no cat or muffler on my truck. The turbo is my muffler. As long as you don't have to go to the DEQ for emissions testing you should be good to go.
