i ordered new u joints thinking that was them, had my truck on the hoist at work took the drive shaft right out and all u joints seem to be farley new from previous owner, so then i was super pissed because i have been chasing this around for 6000 km lol, and yes it is quieter in the pass side seat, only the driver can hear it and feel it with your left foot on the floor neer the fire wall, so i had my truck running on the hoist and had a fellow mechanic use a stethascope or w.e its called to listen for the noise, i could hear it best in 2x4 at about 60km/hr and up so he started poking around, ruled out the front end as for now and found the rear end was making the noise, im thinking my clutch packs are shot because i can never get the limited slip to work since day one and so i replaced all fluid and with 2 additives, i just got back from a 1800km trip and im at the point where when it blows up then ill fix it ill know what it is, but im going to diag it further on monday i hope see if we cant poke around the diff and see if something has let go might pull the axles etc, as for now i drive around until she pops.
