Polished aluminum wheels will have to be polished unless they have some sort of clear coating on them. Chrome wheels are easier to maintain. Soap and water and they look great. I have had both and it is well worth the extra money to get the Chrome. I just don't have time to spend the better part of a day polishing wheels.
