It turned out to be a beautiful day on the water. Our first stop was the German Charlie formation just 45 miles south of the jettys where we caught our limit of BIG red snapper pretty quickly. We didn't keep any under 22". We then moved out another 5-10 to the drop off at about 130ft. We hooked a few Amberjack, but only bagged 2. The big one was caught by my wife in the green shirt. I had the second largest Kingfish out of the 19 or so caught, I'm pictured below with one of the average ones (blue shirt, khaki hat) while the guys weighed the others to see if they qualified for STAR tournament entries. Also check out the shark below, took over 30 minutes to get him to the surface, but the guide lost him trying to tie him to the cleats. We saw a couple Wahoo under a grassline at about 32 miles, but we couldn't get them to bite anything. I'll be going back out in August for Dorado season, maybe we can put together an anual LSP trip around then?!?!
