I get the old PSD out there to get him out and when I locked it in, hubs in "LOCK" position and truck in 4 low, my right front and left rear spun and the other 2 did NOTTA. Whats the dealio? Is this normal or how should I go about checking this thing out. I had to get the Kubota to pull him out. I probably could have gotten him out but I was not taking a chance on a strap if it snapped banging up mine or his truck so the tractor is the lesser of the evils here.
yeah ask lil red about snatch straps and tailgates, i just replaced his for him. but as for your posi issues, you night not have a limited slip locker in the rear or front. my '97 didnt come with a limited slip locker but the guy before me installed a used one and i installed new clutch packs. some people do think that 4-lo is supposed to magically make all 4 tires hook up just because its in 4-lo. all 4-lodoes is make the output yoke on the front of the t-case turn and gives you a gear reduction, it has nothing to do with your lockers.
