83 f250 6.9 switching cabs
I have a 83 f250 with a 6.9 4x4 and I wanted to know if a 4x2 and 4x4 bolt up the same on the cabs. I know the early 70s trucks the frame were wider on a 4x2 than the 4x4. and also what years will work for this frame ?

80-86 are exactly the same. 87-97 will also work w some minor differences . Frames are all the same width from 80-97
|

what are the miner differances in the 87-and will the 7.3 non turbo wireing in the later yours work with the 6.9 ?
