will a 6.9 bolt to a newer manual tranny?
does anyone know if a 6.9 will bolt to a manual tranny from a 1994 f350 with a 7.3?

if it is the non powerstroke i THINK it will bolt right up but idk about the powerstroke 94 tranny??

He beat me too it...I think the 7.3 IDI will be the same bolt pattern, but I think the powerstroke was different. Send Scuffy828 a pm he should be able to tell you for sure.

As stated if the 7.3L is an IDI 7.3L and not the Powerstroke then yes it will bolt up. But if it is the powerstroke 7.3L it will not.

yup it will bolt right up...
when I blew the 1985 6.9 up in my old wrecker (dropprd a valve) I replaced it with a 1991 7.3L and used the 85's original 4 speed stick
