i'm lookin at an F-350 6.9 4dr 2wd dually. i'm pretty sure its automatic but can't remember for sure.

what years did the 6.9's run in the Ford's?

what transmissions did they come with? for some reason i keep thinking it had a 4spd auto.

To what extent do the aftermarket turbo-kits (Banks Sidewinder) affect the 6.9's legendary reliability? (my right foot isn't made of lead)

Is Banks the only one that makes turbo-kits for the 6.9?

Banks, Hypermax and ATS all make aftermarket turbo kits for these trucks. Banks is going to or did stop selling their kits. I run the Banks...it was very complete, i love it but it was also the most expensive. Great improvement in power and mileage. as far as specs for the 6.9, I couldn't tell you....sorry.

From what info I could find, looks like the 6.9 was from 84-92 ??
