6.9L MPG

Hey guys. I have the chance to pick up a 1986 Bullnose F250 with a 6.9L in it. Its a sharp lookin truck! Anyways, what kind of mpg can I expect out of it? The only thing I can see done to it is exhaust. It has stacks

Mileage depends on several different factors.

How you drive
Fuel system/engine upkeep
Tranny/gears

I have seen almost 20mpg with mine, or if I drive a constant 65-70mph, around 15-16mpg.

Ouch lol. 20 sounds awesome but 15-16... Ill have to be easy on her lol. I typically drive like a normal person. Not too hard but not like a grandpa. We dont have interstates around here so I shouldnt be goin more than 65 unless Im racin someone (highly unlikely since theyre slow lol). Its a manual, 4x4 too. I plan on doin SOME work to it, such as turning up the fuel pump for some extra HP and a possible turbo in the future.
