Trans pan question

Any of you 6.9 guys know if a e40d/4r100 pan will fit on the C6 or whatever your guys Auto trans are I think the 6.9 is an 85 year truck if that makes a diference I can't look at the truck to see if it is the same or not.

NO its will not interchange (E4OD/4r100 and C6) they have diffrent sized pans the E4OD and the C6 , you maybe able to get a deep sump for a AOD or AODe trans. and put on it.

Ok thanks it was for a guy I worked with I have my stock pan off my 4r100 and his son has a c6 and wanted to know. Well guess he is SOL thanks for the info

if you were closer I'd let you get him try a spare AOD pane I have but you a "HOT MINUTE" away lol
