Transmission delay new pump

Hi guys I have a 2012 6.7 f350. 5,500 miles. I Love this truck, but I know there has been this delay going into drive and reverse in some trucks.
I had a reflash done and now a tranny oil pump per TSB. The truck is now worse than ever. Before the new pump was is stalled it would be periodically, now it does it hot or cold.
Now I get a hard engagement. Has anyone had this problem and had it fixed correctly?
Ford is telling the dealer this is normal??.. Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it! Very frustrating! This is my twelve super duty so I have been a loyal truck owner. I can't believe Ford is not stepping up and addressing this issue.
Thanks in advance

My reverse issues were fixed with the new pump. Get them to check them to test it, maybe u got a bad "new" pump?

how bad of a delay did you guys have? every now and then I'll get a 2-3 second delay if i shift into gear right after I start the truck. mentioned this to the dealer as well but got the same response that it's "normal" I can never tell if their being truthful or jsut don't feel like doing the work... I'll be deleting here very soon but if it is a problem with the pump want to try and get it taken care of before I delete so I dont have to hassle with going back to stock two months after...

I've got a '12 250 with about 28K on it.

Mine was a good 5 seconds or so and then it would clunk hard into reverse. I am still having transmission issues but the pump did fix the delay.

I'm having the delay into reverse, but it happens very rarely. Should I have this checked out? Unfortunately, I am deleted and tuned...

Your tune shouldn't give you a problem. This is a known problem. The pumps go bad. Your mods didn't cause it for sure.

I know what you mean. I've been dealing with an intermittent fuzz/glitch on my rear view camera for as long as I can remember because I am reluctant to go back to the dealership. After needing to schedule 4 appointments to get a window tint job done right, which I ended getting done right the first time for half the price somewhere else, the only time I've been back to the dealership was to cancel my 100k maintenance plan.
