TRANS ISSUE, DTC CODE P0884

got in my truck to start it two days ago and heard a weird clunk and sounded like the starter was strained and quit. tried again and same thing. one more time and it started. turned it off after a little bit and tried again. it hesitated again and started. checked the minimax and its throwing the DTC code P0884 TCM power input signal intermittent. drove the truck all day with a few restarts and the code went away for a day. it started again last night and it is still doing it today. if i don't drive the truck for a little while the first time i turn the key it strains and quits then i have to turn the key all the way back off and try again and it will start. also for the entire time i have had the truck it has shifted hard and sometimes when it is cold, from 2-3, it slips out of gear and revs up really high.

I am really starting to get irritated with all of this. i want to take it to the stealership and have it looked at but I'm afraid of what they will charge me. I'm at 53k miles and have been tuned since 20k. at the moment i am running spe hotx engine and trans tuning. I'm debating on switching to the gear head tuning if that will help.
anyone have any advice on whats going on?

Thanks,
Brad
