Tranny Leak

I've noticed my 2011 f250 has a slight trans oil leak. I'm unable to locate exact place its leaking as of yet. It has 120000 miles so figured I'd do a service since its a little low on the dipstick from the leak. Going to make sure I find the leak first just wanted to see if anyone had any leaks they had to fix and what's some good places to check. Does it need to be in gear to locate easier or parked in neutral work?

I had a leak. 1st trip in they replaced the pan and gasket. It still leaked. 2nd trip in they pulled my t-case and replaced the seal between the transmission. This fixed the leak.

Just noticed a small leak today - looks like tranny fluid but can't quite find the source. I wonder if this is common?

Well, I'm not sure what is happening but the leak has stop..?? I did wiped off all the wet spot and wrapped a piece of cloth to mark a spot on one of the hoses but I can't imagine that piece of cloth fixed the leak..hahahaha... I'm kind of glad the leak stops but it might just be waiting for the pressure to build up then explode.. I hope not...

I took my truck to a dealer because I saw droplets of red fluid under my truck again. Well, dealer said it was (red) coolant that was leaking due ta loose clamp. They replaced the clamp and my truck is as good as new again.

Well, I spoke too soon... The leak was not the clamp but a quick disconnect in the Turbo. I was told that the turbo is now cooled by the coolant.. Hmmm... anyway, after 610.00 they were able to replaced what needs to be replace. Now, I think I'm as good as new again...
