Afternoon all. I am needing to replace my CPS on my 2011 F250. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction on its position and how to replace it.
Driver side front of Bell housing. There is a round rubber plug about 2" diameter, with the ckp harness running through it. Pull the plug out. The sensor resides behind it, a few inches down in there. Iirc, 8mm socket
On my 2018 f250 platinum 6.7 I replaced my crankshaft position sensor and now when I clear the code the check engine light stays off until I turn off the motor and restarted it. It cranks several times before starting ang the check engine light comes back on with a code for the crankshaft position sensor??? I have tried several resets???
Almost sounds like an issue with the wiring harness.
