6.7 Electrical Problem

I have 2012 F350 lariat with 6.7 Powerstroke. Hooked up in bed salter/spreader by hooking ground wire to battery, power wire I alligator clipped on to a wire that had been alligator clipped to a power source out of fuse panel that had an in line fuse on it, that had been installed with snowplow. I had Truck Running, hit power source switch on in bed salter/spreader and my truck died completely no power at all. Inline fuse I had connected to didn't blow. I have cab lights and that's it, checked all fuses but have not replaced any relays. Any suggestions please help, no power at all and I have snow storms moving in and need to plow snow with it.
