Its when the trip is paused. I had that too and messed with it, but i'm pretty sure that's what it is.

I'll look in my truck later, but if I remember correctly go to the trip screen, hit the ok button on controls on left side of steering wheel that will pause and un pause the trip.

hit the ok button and before it resets hit it again that will pause the trip reset
