EGR cooler

Just a heads up in the last 3 weeks at our shop we have done 7 egr coolers for clogging. Mileage ranged from 11,000 to 43,000 so just a heads up don't let them idle to long!!

You dont have to let them idile for them to clog. Mine was at 30000 or so and i dont idile. Prefer to park and go inside than drive thru. Hate sein mpg drop.

I've done about a dozen of these coolers now. Excessive idle time and poor fuel quality are a concern, every truck doesn't need them.

I've even done one one repeat on a cooler that plugged up already
