Brake pedal to soft???
So about 6 months ago my dad bought a 2011 f250 with 15k. He has been telling me for a while that his brakes feel really soft. He said the pedal goes about 3/4 of the way to the floor. He saids he basically has to pump them a time or two to get a good pedal. He took it to the dealer and of course they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Ironically he is about 300 miles from his 36k warranty running out. Fortunately he bought the extended warranty. When he went back to pick up his truck he asked to drive another f250 to compare. He drove a 2012 f250 with 17k. He said the the brakes were kind of soft, but not as soft as his. The service manager basically told him that's just the way they are, nothing is wrong with it. Has anyone else noticed there brakes being really soft?

Mine are the same way. 2012 28k miles. They've been that way since I drove it off the lot.

My 2011 is not soft or stiff but some where in between. Are they softer than my old 350 yes. But not as stiff as my wife's VW EOS. Touch that peddle and you are locked up!
