Sirius radio

Hey guys I just noticed the my sirius radio is acting up in my truck. I have my selected channels saved into my SAT1 and SAT2 pre-sets and can tune the radio to those stations by pushing the pre-set buttons, however, if i try to turn the radio to another station by using the seek buttons it doesn't cycle through the stations properly.

If I press pre-set button #1 and go to station 9 and then press seek to turn to station 10 it jumps to 141 and will seek up to 147 and then back to 141.

It doesnt matter which station it is on all the seek button will do is cycle through stations 141-147.

If I switch to FM it cycles properly. Anyone else had this problem? My chevy had a knob to tune the radio with and I sure do miss it.

I can't remember off hand but are there tune buttons you could use instead? not sure how seek would work with SAT.

There are tune buttons on the radio, but it is a much longer reach for me.

Mine does the same thing and then goes back to normal. I just use the tune up and down buttons till then.

I found the answer for my radio... hope it helps someone else out there:

I went into the settings of the unit... don't remember the exact sequence, but pretty sure it was under Advanced... I found a Restore Defaults option and selected it... It took a minute, came back and said 'RESTORED.' I switched over to Sirius and my seek button now took me to the next station.

Yeah.. i had mine checked at the dealer a few days ago. They said some how the settings got changed to where it would only seek with in whatever paramaters you set. I do not recall doing this but whatever.. they fixed it no charge.
