2450 miles and an oil leak!

Well, the truck has been running great, no issues until today!

First off the DEF low message just came on the DIC so I knew I would be heading into the dealer this week to get that filled as it is covered under our extended warranty to be filled when needed. not a big deal just time consuming!

HOWEVER tonight the wife and I went out to pull some weeds and do some quick yard work and I noticed I had about 8 quarter sized oil spots on the driveway. I got down and looked under the truck and noticed there were about 5 more including one that was fresh. I crawled under the truck and it looks like the rear main seal is leaking.

I found this thread and it looks like these are pictures of my truck!

probably just your oil pan. there is an updated one. leaks from the bolts and the plug

Well truck is still at the shop! They have replaced the lower oil pan, the oil filter, filter housing and all the gaskets. Diesel tech said it looks like there is a pin hole leak in the upper oil pan! Said it would be Wednesday before parts arrived and probably late Thursday or Friday before they finish and wrap it all up! Hopefully he does not have to also do the rear main after all of this!
