Poor tranny shifts

My truck only has 2k on it, but several times it has what feels like to me "slipped" pretty good, and then the engine usually defuels, and it figures out a gear? It is generally 2-3 shift, but sometimes 3-4 shifts?? Most other times it shifts flawlessly, but when it doesn't it is very noticeable.

Also one time i had it on the verge of shifting from either 1-2 or 2-3, and the rpm's were fluctuating bad, and the truck was bucking and jerking???

So far i am not to impressed with this tranny, my 5r100 in my 08 never had any of these issues? Any ideas? Bad tranny solenoid??

Problem is it only does it once in a while, and i can just about bet money when i take it to the dealership, they are going to give it right back to me and tell me they could not duplicate the issue (had this problem before)!!

I know I keep reading about a reflash on the trans to fix it.

Mine etarted doing that 2 i have about 2,400 miles on mine.

They did replace a couple solenoids on mine under a TSB.

I'll see if I can find the TSB number.

That would be good, thanks! I can't imagine that mine would not have the latest/greatest programming, as it was just built on Jan. 2012, but who knows. I had heard of programming the '11's to fix shifting, but nothing on '12's? Sure feels like something isn't quite right! Very frustrating when you just dropped 50k+

How do you know the built date . I just bought my trck last mont curious of built date

Should be on the door tag saying mfg date. Like all other vehicles on the road.

Heres my 2 cents worth, take it to dealer to check for tranny updates or reflash. Then your transmission will start relearning our driving habits.

Just a reminder when these trucks are new the tranny's are learning your driving habits and shifting accordingly. I believe the tranny learning takes between 1000-2000 miles.

Tranny shifts seem to be getting worse than better. Thought maybe the tranny was still trying to get used to my driving, but 2500 miles later one would think it would have figured it out. Taking to dealership on thursday, hope they find something, because as it shifts now i am not happy!!
