Spartan Tuner???

I have a 2011 F350 Diesel and a shop is telling me to put a Spartan Tuner and Magnaflow exhaust on the truck.

I've worked on cars for years but I've never messed with a diesel other than driving them. Has anyone had any bad luck with their trucks after installing these? I really don't want loud exhaust or a bunch of smoke. I simply want better MPG and a little more power.

I'm going H&S, most people here will tell you, they are the best out for the 6.7 right now.

Also spartan only has 1 DPF on tune which is 50 hp i think

I did months of research....MONTHS I tell you. I can also tell you that when it comes to the 6.7's, H&S wins by far. H&S is all over the forums being supportive etc and they have more features (TPMS disable etc). I love my H&S Mini so buy with confidence.

Just wondering if either tuner can be detected by the dealer even if returned to stock?
