Need some help!
In October I purchased a 2011 F-250 crew cab Fx4 lariat. The truck had 100 miles on it when I bought it. Now it has 2200 and is in the shop because it will not start with the key. It would crank however with the remote. Check engine light came on after it started with the remote so I immediately took it to the ford house where I bought it. The service manager told me it needed a new PCM and it would take 3 days to get. The three days go by and no call from
Him so I call and he says that did not fix the problem. I've talked to the guy every day and he says they r running tests and cannot figure out the problem. Its been in the shop over a week. My question is what am I supposed to do? Am I screwed and stuck with waiting on a resolution and being without a pickup I paid over 40k for? Do I need to contact someone at ford? Should I be entitled to a replacement pickup identical to the one I purchased? Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance |

Updates? Is she still in the shop, if not, what did the problem turn out to be?

Give them time to fix it. I am sure things will work out.

Well I've had her out of the shop for about a week now after the dealership was 1 step away from scheduling an engineer to come out and take a look. Turns out one of the batteries was bad. The technician said it was checking good at first but he thinks it didn't have enough voltage to crank the pickup. I'm glad it was something so minor!
