back up senser wont stop beeping

when i put my truck in reverse it beeps none stop even though im not near anything anybody had this issue or can help me with this would be great. its brand new and under warranty so ill go to ford tommarrow

Probably just a faulty part. But at least it is under warrantly. If your dealership is like mine then they will have the part in stock and get it installed in about 5 hours

Ok how the hell do you turn them off? I had my tail gate down when I was backing up and they were going crazy! In my excursion there was a button I could push to turn them off, I don't see a button or anyway to turn them off. PLEASE HELP!

look at you display between the gauges when you put it in reverse it asks you if you want to turn them off

hey guys just wanted to let yall know it must have been something on it even though i checked for that yesterday and did not see anything had my truck detailed this morning and its working the correct way now so there was nothing wrong with the truck just the dumb DRIVER lol this post can be deleted im not sure how to do it or even if i can. THANKS for the post guys and sorry to wast some peoples time with my dumb mistake

As we now have snow here in British Columbia I power washed the underside of the truck to remove all the crud, paying attention to the back under the bumper. After that, the backup sensors would stay on in reverse eventhough nothing behind. Sooo I smacked the bumper with my hand and also smacked the sensors. { Fixed that problem }now they don't work at all. How do these things work?. Has anybody had them apart? Or know of a fix?

thats exactly what happen to mine then cause yesterday i power washed the underside of my truck and bumpers. so thats exactly what it was thanks graeme i didnt even put two and two together till your post
