First time posting on a site so hope it works. I have a 2011 diesel Ford F250 6.7 Recently it has started blowing #89 starter fuse. It doesn't do it all the time but will start once replaced and be good for a while. So far we have checked the wiring for wear all looks good, we have replaced the batteries checked connections. We are about to replace the starter & solenoid as it all comes as one but before I have a few odd things I am wondering about. The truck has been starting and not blowing fuse reall good for about a week then the other day I used the key to try to open the door and I tried the command start another day and after doing this the fuse blew again I went back to using just the key for the last few days and have not blown it for a few days again so I am wondering if it is something else.
No it does not only do it with command start it has done it with key also. So do you think it is the starter? Even though it starts quite a few times on key without blowing?
still probably an accident?
I am willing to re title the thread if She wants to draw more attention ( truck minded attention )
