I have a 2011 F350 6.7L Powerstroke with about 115k miles on it. Upon inital startup, the truck feels sluggish and almost like it's in reduced power mode until it is turned off and then restarted. If I let the truck run, it stays sluggish until it is restarted. The restart can be instantly after it was started the first time. After the restart it has all of it's power back. What would be causing this?
happens after sitting overnight?
if i had to guess, i'd say it's a temperature correlation issue. but you really need to scan for dtc's. there are numerous possibilities here
You're driving extended distances w/CEL?
My 2011 had a P20BA fault.
Took two visits to Ford.
One to replace the line heater after the tank.
Returned next day to replace tank heater.
We don't drive her w/CEL glowing.
