2012 bad fuel gauge gone wacky
So this morning while driving in my low fuel light came on and my gauge was almost at E. I thought that cant be right, I know I am not that low yet. So I went into work and just now on my drive home, when I started the truck it was at E then slowly went ALL the way to Full and stayed there. The DTE gauge slowly climbed with it also.
I just topped the truck off with 26 gallons of fuel, so I know it is full now, and the gauge current reads full. I shut the truck off 3 to 4 times while filling up and every time I turned the key to the on position or start the fuel gauge immediately went to Full.
I have a 50 gallon Titan tank, FYI.
Any ideas what in the world could be going on here? I am out of warranty.
