Transfer flow tank removal from 2011 F350
I removed a transfer flow 75 gallon tank that had a trax II controller hooked up. It comes with a harness kit, solenoid etc. so it over rides your fuel gauge in the dash to compensate for having the additional 75 gallon tank too.
When we removed it, i couldn't find where the original fuel harness under the truck was spliced into. We cut the transfer flow harness before it went into the factory wires, "3 wires" which i found in the manual where to hook up , but apparently, one of the wires in the original harness must have been cut to be bypassed, because i taped off the three wire ends but now the fuel gauge doesn't work, truck says low fuel... when its full, so we need that wire lol. Anyone ever install one of these? It appeared the transfer flow wires ran to the top of the fuel tank so it wasn't like i could see the wires where they were spliced or bypassed so i could put them back together, "nor did i think an original wire was cut".
