Auto window feature

I have a 2012 XL F-350 and it has the window switch with auto down on drivers side only. My buddy has a lariat and his is auto up and down for both windows from drivers door. Thought about trying to change the switches but dealer said all kinds of stuff was different. Just wondering if anyone on here has ever heard this or even thought about it

Its not just the driver door switch. its micro switches in both doors and another mini ECM to protect from overload.

Well that's discouraging. I was interested in doing the same thing.

aftermarket alarms can do it also, and you can get a rain sensor with auto roll up at lock.

its on my to do list.

Gonna bump this back up. I know it might be a little difficult to find one, but what all is needed if I happen to find a setup in a junk yard or online. I dont think it would be too hard to install a couple micro switches and an ECM unless there is some programming for the computer needed.
