2012 passenger side power seat retro fit

Hi all, I have a 2012 XLT. It was not available with the passenger side power seat option. My wife and I take several long distance trips a year and she would like to be able to move her seat around more than what the manual set up will allow. I just bought the power seat track and am looking for the panel with the switches. I have been told by my local dealer in order to retro fit a power seat set up in, I have to install a all new wire harness in the truck.... not real sure I believe them. There is currently wiring with a small box attached to the underside of the manual passenger seat. Does anyone know what this is? Is it existing wiring for the power seat option if the Lariet option had been called for on my truck's build sheet? Thanks for any input.

my bet the box under the seat is for the SRS stuff(advanced air bags), other than that i don't know.
