there's a guy on here that has his done in some blue pattern. I've got a friend that does dipping. im getting my dash pieces done in a black marble pattern with gold lines going through it when I get my truck back. I figured i'd do something with gold since my lift kit is gold vein.

edit: here's the picture he posted. it was on another forum.

I have hydrodipped parts for my banshee. **** is not cheap but not expensive.
it looks awesome if done correctly.
Same pattern, it is a green base with skulls pattern. small stuff the is flat is super easy to do. When you get to big piece and none flat surfuces, it can get costly.

wow that does look really good, I wanna see some people who did it on their trucks.... how durable is this stuff, im assuming if you are doing it on ATV parts it should hold up great on a dash

actually it all depends.

the guy that does ATV for me preps everything nicely, then does a base coat of paint, then dips, then clears.
so if they dont clear, i would assume it wouldn't be as durable.

but the ones i have are foot pegs, so they will be getting used and worn.

From what I know about it. It's as strong as the base coat under it. After all, all the camo guns are hydro dipped and even the wood grain pieces in your truck from the factory are dipped.
