Custom subwoofer install

Got a system out in the truck today! Custom box behind seat, with a JL TW5 13.5" sub, paired with a JL JX1000/1D amp! Looks so clean and sure does put out rocket sound!

1000 watt 1 ohm (mono block) is pretty sweet for a single sub.

Does that thing pound or what? I am going to be running some Hertz components front and rear. Will have a 13Tw5V2-2 in a SPL2K box behind the rear seat. Everything will be powered by a JL 900/5, 100x4 rms for the door speakers and 500 rms to the sub.

Hell yeah dude it pounds like hell! I was blown away by the quality! I can't even imagine going with anything else less!

I was contemplating moving the power slide motor, and running two Rockford shallow 12s ported. I guess it blows away the 13W5V2, however I didn't want to run a dual amp setup and and lose my underseat storage.

What did you use for a line output converter and where do you have it hooked into? I have a well put together box sub and amp and I think it sounds decent but it pops on turn off and I am wondering how to fix it. It is starting to get old.

I am going to use and Audiocontrol LC7i or a Rockford 360.3. Leaning toward the 360.3....................

Idk to be honest, they tied into factory wiring behind dash, and also the bass remote feature is tied into the bass level sector in factory radio as well. The stero shop did the work, all I know is they knew what they were doing! I have no turn on or off pop
