2012 XLT dash cluster to a Lariat cluster.

Went shopping for a new 12 4x4. The dealer ship had 2. An XLT and a Lariat. Couldn't see spending the extra $$ on leather seats that were air conditioned, and a beer window I would never use. I did test drive the Lariat before buying the XLT. The one thing I really wish I had was the dash cluster from the lariat. Has any one swapped out the two and if so was it worth the aggravation. Would I need to change out the steering wheel as well? Thanks in advance for any advise, both positive and negative.

Are you referring to the productivity screen or is there more difference ?

My XLT has the productivity screen, so I assume it would be a plug and play deal.

This is of course just a guess.

I just bought a 2013 xlt and I also would like the lariat cluster and for techs on here please chime in on this I have a Drw so I know I wouldnt get the off road telemetry but I like the message center beter.

IMOP spend the extra money on the lariat I wish I would of. Either way I would still have my cover craft seat savers best seat covers on the market

I had an xlt and put the lariat center cluster in so I had the digital heat controls and wood grain, everything worked but the dual heat controls. It was just plug and play
