What a disappointment

3 months ago I went in and ordered a 2013 XL 6.7. I like a plain interior but decided to upgrade the seats to the captains with "console".

Well, it came in yesturday and, as beautiful as everything else is and is exactly how I wanted it, That seat upgrade is the biggest disappointment ive ever seen!! They neglected to tell me its a "mini" console. Which basically means they bolted 2 cup holders to the floor with a coin tray. You actually have to bend over to put a coffee into it because its literally on the floor...

Unsure of what to do now.. Can/will a xlt or Lariet console easily be swapped in?

Someone give me some good news PLEASE!!

Can you throw up a picture of the front seats of the truck? If you have captains chairs, I'm sure the larger console will fit right in!

take that truck back. if it came without my expectations i'd walk out the door to another dealer.

I would be talking with your dealer about that issue before you spend more of your own money, but i would think that the other console would bolt right up. The only thing you might run into is if you have a manual t-case for 4x4. I couldn't get the cup holders that fold down from the dash because of my manual t-case. Or maybe the center console doesn't even go that far forward, i can't remember what they look like.

I'm speaking with them today. Its just a pisser to wait 3. Months n be disappointed. Cup holders come down. I got the auto switch for 4x4. Ill get some pics soon since truck is still sitting on the dealership lot...

I just called another dealership parts dept and asked about a price for the xlt flow-through console....about $2000 b4 install!!!

I'm going to have a center console out of a 2013 lariet for sale in a week to two weeks depending on when they get the truck here if your interstead
